Snowstorm Slop

Ok so this dish was born of yet another snowstorm where I got snowed in and I was scrounging the pantry and freezer for ingredients. As you'll see there are no real measurements... The reason is that this is an absolute wing-it dish - have fun with it!

· 1 - 1.5 lb 93% fat free beef chop meat (venison if you have)
· olive oil
· 1 lge yellow onion cut up
· 3 cloves garlic minced
· several mushrooms cut up
· 10oz pkg frozen chopped broccoli
· 15 oz can cannellini or red kidney beans
· 8 oz low fat sour cream
· adobo seasoning, fresh ground black pepper
· splash of leftover wine or liquid marinade
· handful of sunflower seeds

Sautee the onion and garlic in olive oil in a large nonstick dutch oven. Add the chop meat and fry til done. While doing this you can nuke the broccoli and drain the beans. Season the dish with adobo, pepper and wine and add the mushrooms. Continue at medium heat and add drained broccoli and sunflower seeds. Stir in sour cream and finally add the beans, folding them in carefully so they don't break.

Once you have it all together you'll understand the name of this dish. It ain't a pretty sight, but it's damn tasty. If you have any ideas on presentation, let me know!
